Facilities at Sedgeberrow Village Hall

The Village Hall
The Village Hall can hold up to 170 people, with access from the main double doors on the ground floor.
Facilities include:
- 83 chairs
- 3 large tables (can seat 8)
- 8 medium tables (can seat 6)
- 2 small tables (can seat 6)
- Separate men's and women's toilets
- Curtained stage, with accessible lift.
If additional tables and chairs are required, we have 6 small tables and 39 chairs that can be moved from The Betteridge Room, to cater for a large event.
If you require use of the children's tables and chairs (stored in The Betteridge Room), please detail this when booking the hall.
Hire of The Village Hall is for use of the hall only, if you require use of the kitchen please add this to the booking. Access to the kitchen is via the stage, which can be accessed via steps or an accessible lift. See below for a full list of the kitchen facilities.
Note, use of the 'kitchenette' is no longer permitted by hirers, this area and any facilities contained within are for use by Sedgeberrow CofE school only.
The Betteridge Room
The Betteridge Room has had new flooring fitting in the summer of 2023.
Facilities in the room include:
- 39 chairs
- 6 small tables (can seat 6)
- Children's tables and chairs
- Sink with draining board
- Separate men's and women's toilets.
- Spacious hallway entrance with bag/coat hooks
Hire of The Betteridge Room allows full use of the kitchen facilities. Access to The Betteridge Room is via its own entrance from a set of steps or accessible ramp.
The Betteridge Room is used by Sedgeberrow CofE Preschool during term time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
The Kitchen
Our fully fitted kitchen was built in spring 2023. When booking The Betteridge Room, you have access to these facilities, and you can add use of the kitchen to your Village Hall booking.
Access to the kitchen can be either from The Betteridge Room or from the stage in The Village Hall, via steps or lift.
We have cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs and champagne flutes to serve up to 100 people. Along with a selection of other glassware and cups & saucers.
As well as all you need to prep and serve hot and cold food, including:
- Fridge/Freezer
- Dishwasher
- Sink/Drainer
- Large oven, with grill and electric hobs
- Electric urn for teas/coffees
- Oven trays
- Serving trays
- Selection of utensils
- Glass bowls
- Glass jugs
- Three tier trolley
Outside/Other Facilities
Off street parking with 20 parking bays, plus 2 disabled parking bays.
On road parking is available in the village. Please be mindful of residents driveways, blind corners and the local bus service running through the village.
A defibrillator is located next to the entrance to The Betteridge Room.
WiFi is available throughout The Village Hall and The Betteridge Room, installed during summer 2023.
